Sycamore Kitchen is a good stopping point if you’re shopping along La Brea’s bustling retail scene. Order at the counter, and take a seat on the outdoor patio to enjoy the Warby Parker wearing, eclectic mix of fashionable peeps that come and go.
The menu is fairly simple, yet bold. Expect to find an array of salads as well as some hearty sandwiches. If it’s your first time, go ahead and order that short rib sandwich! Feeling a little sluggish afterwards? Sycamore Kitchen is a perfect spot for a strong brew.
Whether you are meeting a friend for a pastry (which will be irresistible, trust me) and tea, breakfast, or a mid day bite, Sycamore Kitchen is a good stop any time of day!
If you have a runner, however, the outdoor patio is NOT enclosed. But this does leave you with a couple good options nonetheless: Be okay with giving your tot a cookie for breakfast and let them go at it, keep them strapped in, orrrr just take a seat inside. If you have a screamer, then scream baby scream. No one seems to mind very much at Sycamore Kitchen. Its laid-back scene will have US coming back!

If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.

A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.

If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
