THE GET DOWN
Traditional, old school meatball and red sauce kind of place. Bay City Deli gets so jammed at lunch, so order a sandy ahead of time if you know what you want.
They also have a traditional hot bar with all the Italian fav’s; lasagna, pasta, meatballs, etc. and picnic tables outside to eat.
If you bring cash, you can surpass the crowded lines.
Bay City has fresh frozen foods in the freezer so you can also pick up something to take home as well. Fresh baked bread just flies off the shelf so grab a loaf as soon as you walk in.
Please note: If you have a runner, know what you want before you get there and hang onto to them as tight as possible when you go in! When Capri was in her swatting stage, she knocked a bottle of olive oil off the shelf and they almost wanted me to pay for it. Eeek!

Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.

A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
