Pizzeria Mozza

Marisa Eat, Pizza, West Hollywood | Hollywood

THE GET DOWN

Hands down Pizzaria Mozza is the best thin crust pizza in all of LA! Real thin. I don’t mean really thin, I mean REAL thin. Authentic thin, like the best pizza you’ve eaten in Italy when you don’t feel an ounce guilty that you’ve eaten the whole thing. When in Rome they say.

The cornmeal crust is cooked to perfection in the wood burning oven, the sauce has the right amount of tang, and the toppings? Yaaaas. Nancy Silverton is a pizza GENIUS! No-one can compete. I mean they can, but she will win.. ALWAYS!

The only thing that isn’t perfection at Pizzeria Mozza is that you need to make a reservation to get a table here. I mean you don’t HAVE to but if you don’t like waiting at least an hour for a table then I’d suggest it.

Pizzeria Mozza is a fun and casual eatery with some serious food. Its loud enough for screamers, but for runners? eh.

The space is super tight. You can only hope that eating enough pizza and coaxing them with a butterscotch Bundino will do the trick. If not, yikes! Do the juggle. Make it work. Bring your heaviest artillery. Agree to watching Calliou? The pizza is THAT good.

You know what, let’s avoid all this talk of reservations and just plan on a 4 pm meal. Pizzeria Mozza is open from 12pm – 12am anyway. Done. See you there!

Rating System:

It’s our goal to make exploring LA either with the kids or with grown ups as easy as possible. Click through the tabs above to check out our rating system.

For those with little
runners & screamers:

Easily forgiven:

Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.

Not promoted, but you should take the chance:

If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.

Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:

I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.

No contained area:

A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.

Enclosed, but space is tight:

If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
