Sqirl is a casual breakfast and lunch nook, serving everything you’d have a taste for.
Don’t get discouraged by the lines out the door either. Seriously, a meal at Squirl IS worth the wait.
There are plenty of vegan/vegetarian options to choose from here. As well as bowls, salads and sandwiches. Whatever you do, don’t leave Squirl without picking up a jar of their house made jam. Order the french toast and you’ll see why.
The space inside is minimalistic and super tight. If you have a bebe who can sit in a very high chair (yes, high seating only here), then now is the time to pull out that Inglesina portable chair that clips to the table. This would be the only way you can do it. Otherwise the door stays open and the tots can quickly and easily b-line to the busy street outside.
But did i mention you can take that jam to go?

Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
