Some places are better left untouched and Fair Oaks Pharmacy is one of those kinds of places. Established in 1910, Fair Oaks Pharmacy is a good ol’ soda fountain shop. Probably a spot where your grandparents (or even great grandparents) saved up coins from collecting aluminum cans and treated themselves every now and again.
THIS is the feeling you have walking through the doors at Fair Oaks Pharmacy. It will take you back to a place your subconscious never left.
You can either have a seat at the counter or grab a café table inside.
Not only does Fair Oaks Pharmacy have a menu with all the American Fav’s but it also has ice cream done every way you could imagine! From blitz to splits, to freezes and floats, what you crave is right here at Fair Oaks Pharmacy. And for you east coasters, Fair Oaks Pharmacy has Egg Cream on the menu too!
You will find an array of old school toys and unique novelties for sale at Fair Oaks Pharmacy. There was something about watching my daughter play with toys I grew up with as a kid that brought tears to my eyes.
I immediately flashed back to a slower life, where everything moves at a pace you can physically handle, where quality matters and conversations with loved ones are waiting to be had, all while sharing a scoop.

If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.

A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
