THE GET DOWN
Vincent Lugo Park is one of the coolest parks around town! Though it could be a bit of a drive for you city folk, I assure you the park’s unique flavor will be well worth it.
Picture extremely large concrete statues of supersized sea creatures. From a ginormous blue whale to a larger than life octopus. The statues at Vincent Lugo Park are so big that even adults will feel pint sized!
Next, imagine going up two stories of steps, to get to a castle where you will then slide down a dragon’s mouth. Vincent Lugo Park is wild, fun, and a perfect spot for photo opps! Crawlers might be a bit challenged at Vincent Lugo Park however, as everything IS made with cement and requires climbing. But for those runners and screamers, movers and shakers… climbing could be just what you need before a nice fat nap.
Vincent Lugo Park is not enclosed so if you have multiples, bring some help. A close eye must be kept due to the cement steps. Also, prepare yourself with extra changes of clothes. Since there is not much grass, things can get dirty around there. Nonetheless, take the drive, pack a picnic and park it to Vincent Lugo. You will be creating memories that will last forever.

If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.

I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
