THE GET DOWN
After eating at Boneyard recently, the only question that was left in my mind after dinner was, how did I not discover this place MUCH earlier?
From Hickory Smoked Pork Ribs and Chicken to Red Oak Grilled Beef Ribs. The toughest part about this meal at Boneyard Bistro would be deciding what direction to go in..
Did I mention those burgers? (yes, those are even fired on the red oak too) And the caramelized onions?? Daaaang.
Everything at Boneyard Bistro is made “in house”. From the French fries, to the pimento cheese and salad dressings… and oh, on the cheese tip..the fried mac n cheese was the best I’d ever had.
I ordered it with apprehension and was pleasantly surprised. It’s like a mac n cheese nugget. Perfect and lightly crisped outside and creamy and cheesy inside. I can STILL taste it…
I’m all about great sides and The Boneyard Bistro does not disappoint one bit. The best part, is that Boneyard Bistro is super causal and fairly loud, so those with runners and screamers can relax… (I know, such an oxymoron when you’re a parent of a tot, eh?)
What I actually mean is… go to Boneyard Bistro on Tuesday or Wed, order a half price bottle of wine and enjoy the chase. It is WELL worth it.
Did I mention that on Monday’s they have a traditional fried Nashville style hot chicken? Don’t be scurred to visit this Boneyard. As long as you take this secret to the grave.

For those with little
runners & screamers:
Easily forgiven:
Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
