Arc! Who goes there? All the cool peeps in the O.C, that’s who! Almost hidden on the “other side” of Costa Mesa’s design-driven strip mall, The ARC will certainly ring you in any day.
Walking into the dimly lit tavern type atmosphere, you might think it’s dinner time already. After you have a glass of wine, you look at your watch and realize it’s almost time to pick up the kids from school. Dang. This is all the more reason to order that burger and gloat in the fact that you don’t have to share. At least for this moment anyway.
It’s best to meet a friend at ARC so you can order more because the surprises will keep coming. Get sloppy with a sloppy joe, enjoy a deconstructed steak salad or gobble up some of those hand cut French fries (first for a change, or have I said that already?). Whichever direction you go in, The ARC will bring your culinary adventure around full circle.
And well ok, if you are coming with the kids, I do suggest hitting the ARC at lunch when it doesn’t get overly crowded. If not, an early dinner will work. Yes! The loud music will drown out your screamer and your runner can occupy themselves in the indulgent fries.

If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.

A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
