Spoke Bicycle Café has officially put Frogtown on the map! What? Didn’t know there was a place called Frogtown in LA? Well Spoke Bicycle Café has now given you a reason to visit.
Spoke Bicycle Shop (yes bike shop) was established first. The shop sits right along the LA river. Coming here is a perfect family and friends outing. Spoke Bicycle Shop recently extended itself to its Café and man… they knocked it out of the park.
This unassuming little café serves up delights for any mood or any eater. From toasts to salads, burgers to beer… you can get it ALL here.
Plan on riding but don’t have a bike? Well Spoke can help you with that. Just show up and the friendly folks at Spoke Bicycle Shop will be happy to take care of you.
Unfortunately they can’t reserve bikes, but not to worry! Grab some nosh and let the kids run free. Enjoy yourself! There are plenty of toys and games laying around and cement areas to do some scooter practicing on.
And if you don’t feel like a ride? Then grab a beer, turn on a record and watch the sunset over the LA river.
Frogtown… I see all good things ahead.

Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
