THE GET DOWN
Los Feliz Cafe is a super tiny, family owned|operated bakery serving up simple American fare. People that come here, come often, as the folks that work here will get to know you by name. I’m a big fan of soup, and Los Feliz Cafe has some of the best. You can even request one and they will make it for you the next day!
Los Feliz Café’s homemade lentil soup is on POINT. It reminds me of the soup my best friends Greek mom used to make for me every time i came to visit.
The menu isn’t fancy at Los Feliz Cafe, but then again it doesn’t need to be. There is something about a small family operated business that is welcoming, even if its just for a tea and a macaroon.
If you want a quiet little nook and somewhere to feed your tot, come here.
There are only 3 tables inside though, and the rest are on the sidewalk patio, so if you have a runner … Well wait until they turn 5 or just take a pint of soup to go.

For those with little
runners & screamers:
Easily forgiven:
Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
