Start off with a Catalana. This house made cappuccino with orange peel syrup will get you LIT for sure! Located in LA’s historic Filipino town, Doubting Thomas is a great spot to have a quick and delicious bite if you want to beat the over crowded hipster scene on the popular Virgil street in neighboring Silverlake.
Doubting Thomas is modern yet casual. Everything is made on premise here, unlike your typical coffee shop stops that showcase someone else’s pastries. ON the menu at Doubting Thomas you’ll find a perfectly compact breakfast, lunch and brunch menu. On it are your not so typical quesadillas and burritos, along with Asian inspired rice bowls.

If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
