As they say, if you want to get to know a neighborhood, check out the local Starbucks? I say, if you want to get to know an area, check out their farmers market. Larchmont Farmer’s market is small and quaint.
It’s open until 2 pm and packed with tons of produce along with artisan foods. This farmers market is also packed with tons of families and you get the feeling everyone knows everyone, until you find out they do.
The social scene at the Larchmont market makes it fun! The small family owned shops/restaurants on these streets just add to the charm of the Larchmont area. There’s also a park nearby, so if you just want to get to a different park of town for a change, spend a Sunday here.

Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.

A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
