THE GET DOWN
If you are looking for a simple, delicious and quick filling bite, then Palette is right up your alley.
Make your own bowl seems to be a craze in LA these days, but unique ones like Palette definitely stand above the rest.
Palette is a make your own bowl kind of place. You get a choice of local grains and beans, veggies and an optional side of protein. I don’t know what they do to their meat here, but daaaang PLEASE try that Bison, you can start with a half order if you are a little suspect.
Palette serves as a reminder that the best quality product yields the best results. Everything at Palette is organic, sustainable and locally grown.
If you are dining with a tot with a fussy palette, no worries, they have chicken on the menu too. Runners and screamers are welcome. Palette is a super casual, café style, order at the counter kind of place.

For those with little
runners & screamers:
Easily forgiven:
Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
