THE GET DOWN
If you have any type of food restriction, then Kitchen Mouse could be your new jam. It accommodates specifically to vegetarians and vegans, but the food is definitely tasty enough to serve all palettes.
Take for the instance the avocado TLT. In the non- vegan world that would probably equate to a BLT, which would be one of my favorite dishes. However, I must confess, I have a secret obsession with Kitchen Mouse’s TLT. An open faced millet toast with cherry tomatoes, & tempeh? Hmmm…a side salad made with sunflower brittle? Sounds interesting…but trust me, when brought together you have the tastiest little sandwich with the perfect amount of flavor and textures.
Kitchen Mouse also has a kids menu with all the faves (vegan of course): mac n’ cheese, grilled cheese and the silver dollar special. But the best part of Kitchen Mouse is the closed in play area! If you are lucky enough to snag a table just alongside of this, you can watch your children entertain themselves while you enjoy a hot meal for a change! And if your tot makes a friend, you might be able to sneak away and snag a pb & j cookie before they notice a thing.

For those with little
runners & screamers:
Easily forgiven:
Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
