THE GET DOWN
Baltaire is a beautifully designed, upscale American restaurant.
The food is delicious! It’s your good old American Club House fair. I highly recommend the steak salad and salmon burger.
Lunch is on the quiet side, so it’s the best time to go if you have young toddlers. Most people sit in the main dining area for lunch so if you do get out with a runner or screamer, you can sit comfortably (well almost comfortably) in the bar area and relax a minute.
They have brunch on the weekends as well (equally as good), and the space get a little louder (another bonus if going with kids).
The TV is usually on playing a golf game, so this is another good distraction. The lounge area also makes it a good meeting place for a casual drink or two on a night off.
The low couches and chairs in the lounge area of Baltaire gives you more flexibility when dining with crawlers, runners, and/or screamers.

Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
