THE GET DOWN
Clementine is only open for breakfast and lunch, but man, it’s quite the scene. It gets packed out with agents and execs who work in the building and can be easily distinguished by suit and tie; a rarity in LA.
Clementine is a super casual eatery (with another location in Century City) and you seriously can’t go wrong with much here. There are a lot of healthy salads and deli items to choose from. The deli showcase changes with the seasons as does the menu.
My fav’s are the soba noodle with chicken (which they don’t make often enough) and the edamame with salmon. The Mediterranean tuna salad (again, which they don’t have often enough) is off the chain too.
The best part of Clementine is that the closest public parking lot is connected to the Beverly Hills library, so it’s easy to play and then eat (or vice versa) if you have kids in tote.
Oh yah, Clementine has THE BEST chocolate chip cookies in the city!

For those with little
runners & screamers:
Easily forgiven:
Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
