If you were to ask a toddler what the best part of the Beverly Hills Library is, they would definitely say the toys! Alright, the books are great too (I swear, I do read to my daughter), but c’mon, a completely enclosed toy room all on its own?!
There are quiet cozy nooks all around the Beverly Hills Library, so perching here one morning or afternoon is always a good idea. It’s big, it’s bright and the artwork is eye catching. Beverly Hills Library offers amazing, FREE drop in classes for kids 3 and under too. Music and dance among other things is offered here as well. The Beverly Hills Library is a nice little mommy scene too.
The Beverly Hills Library is located across the street from a firehouse. Firemen park the fire trucks outside and allow the little ones to explore. When the firemen get called to duty, the kids in the playroom go nuts! It’s so fun to watch.
So, if it’s too hot to hit the parks or if you just need a break for a second, plop yourself on the bench in that toy room, regroup and watch the kids entertain themselves.
You might even leave with a book or two, a portable storytelling device, music cd’s or more frills and thrills that the Beverly Hills Library has to offer.

Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
