What kid (big or small) doesn’t like a good smoothie? Especially when the smoothie comes in a bowl like at Backyard Bowl.
Capri is super hooked on these acai bowls and I don’t mind one bit. For one, Acai has so many health benefits… and two, Backyard Bowl loads it up with fresh fruit and some granola and it tastes great!
It’s the perfect snack any time of day. Get to Backyard Bowl before 11am and enjoy some hot porridge. I’m a sucker for Mama’s oatmeal. It’s made with steel grain oats, cashew milk, almonds, banana, and a wee bit of local preserves. Ahh perfect.
Still haven’t worked my way through Backyard Bowl’s menu, but the frequent stops are at the Berry Bowl and Island Bowl.

If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
