THE GET DOWN
Tarte Tatin is a perfect little bakery/cafe for the family to enjoy. Its loud, bustling and has simple eats and delicious treats!
The egg salad (with a side of tomatoes and chives) and tuna sandy (with a side of scalloped potatoes) are sooo yummy. If you have to take it to-go (like if you’re headed to Roxbury Park), then the folks at Tarte Tatin packages everything super cute and easy to eat.
The pastries at TarteTatin are delicious (but I still have yet to try their TarteTatin). The almond/chocolate croissants… yummmm!
Interesting convo’s with multi-cultural people going around here. I mean you can’t help but to ear pimp, since the tables are THAT close (though rumor has it a re-model has just taken place at Tarte Tatin’s first location on Olympic.)
The space is definately tight, so runners beware. But the loud and casual environment is welcoming to screamers. Its a good spot for a play date after set, and an even safer spot to pick something up and head out for a picnic!

For those with little
runners & screamers:
Easily forgiven:
Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
