C’mon, a French bakery with perfect desserts? Duuuuh! Please, if nothing else, go to Chaumont and get the Pain au Chocolate and tell me I’m wrong.
Chaumont is also a good place for a quick breakfast or light salad. There is always a worldly and engaging scene going on in here. The street is a quiet one in the early hours so it makes for a perfect stop for babes in strollers.
My personal fav’s are the avocado toast and the crazy delicious chocolate, flaky hands down must have pain au chocolate. If you get to Chaumont at just the right time, you might even catch a warm one right out of the oven. Either way, the chocolate is evenly distributed across the croissant like outside. I can go on and on, but OMG! PUT THIS ON YOUR BUCKET LIST PLEASE.

If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
