The Coop

THE GET DOWN

Going to The Coop is always a good idea, most especially for the tots between the ages of 2-7.

The space itself is sunny and bright with accents of orange and yellow all around. It houses a HUGE ball pit, which the real little ones can be placed right into or the older tots can climb a one level obstacle course to get to the slide that will LAND you right in the pit.

As if this highlight is not enough for your little one who is a LOAD of energy, then right next to the massive ball pit is a bouncy house! Yaaaaaas! Thoughtful toys are scattered about and there is also an outdoor area to snack and/or congregate. At every point in The COOP, your toddler will be in sight.

Oh, and if you have a little artist on hand, a separate room houses all kinds of art supplies, plenty of paper, and super cool artsy coloring books to let the imagination run wild! The Coop (as do most indoor play lands) commits to private parties on the weekends so check it out during the week!

Rating System:

It’s our goal to make exploring LA either with the kids or with grown ups as easy as possible. Click through the tabs above to check out our rating system.

For those with little
runners & screamers:

Easily forgiven:

Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.

Not promoted, but you should take the chance:

If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.

Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:

I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.

No contained area:

A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.

Enclosed, but space is tight:

If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
