Same Same
THE GET DOWN
Can the Same Same sometimes be different? I mean, how would you describe your favorite Thai meal? Taste the same?
Walking into Same Same you may wonder if they’ll card your child. Why? Because Same Same has a casual cantina type of vibe. It’s kind of a bar with great beer and an extensive wine list that will go with practically anything you order.
Same Same has a casual yet intimate vibe. If you get there early, your screamer can make as much noise as they please. If you get to Same Same for happy hour, you might not even notice at all.
Located in a small strip mall, Same Same shows up so different. Quality is the first thing you’ll notice here. At first bite, you will immediately wish you’ll have some left on your plate to take home for lunch tomorrow. Yes, you will leave here thinking about your next meal at Same Same …guaranteed.
If you are a fan of curry, then I highly suggest The Panang. The light creamy sauce alone can make a meal for days. As is the Khao Soi. Though sweet and rich, it’s a mouthful of flavor. The whole drumstick that it comes with may appeal to your tot too.
The fresh spring rolls are always a good balance with these. Yes, Same Same has your usual Pad Thai and Pad See Ew too, so if your tot loves noodles, then ease mildly into this direction.
At any rate, Same Same is the perfect spot when you’re looking to gather your favorite peeps with peepsqueaks on a Friday after school and have a drink! Let’s face it, we all need one by then.

For those with little
runners & screamers:
Easily forgiven:
Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
