Lemon Tree – Permanently Closed
THE GET DOWN
An indoor play space AND restaurant all in one. There is a $9 entry fee for two hours of play at Lemon Tree and each adult has to commit to buying a meal as well, HOWEVER you know when you wake up having one of those days and you just want EASY? This is the place and it’s so worth it.
You can literally let the tots run loose at Lemon Tree. They have the set up down to a. science. NOT ONLY do they have someone in the play area keeping a close eye on the kids (and I’ve witnessed it. They will seriously send a kid back to his table if they have a runny nose!), but Lemon Tree is super clean, is filled with a crazy amount of colorful toys, a merry go round, a moving train, slides, trampoline, etc to keep toddlers 5 and under occupied for a good amount of time. In fact, you might even find yourself paying an additional fee to stay longer.
There is not a crevice to spare for any escapees. So yes, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SIT down as you watch your kiddo on the screen above your table. Yes! Table-side monitors too. It’s a WIN WIN. And like I said, if ordering off the menu is the trade off, then let it be what it IS (and stash a sandwich in your bag in case).

For those with little
runners & screamers:
Easily forgiven:
Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
