Walt Disney Concert Hall
THE GET DOWN
The Frank Gehry designed Walt Disney Concert Hall at downtown LA’s Music Center is a major cultural invitation to exquisite concerts; including the LA Philharmonic and other unique performances.
Whether you live in LA or are breezing through town, a chance to see Gustavo Dudamel conduct is certainly special. His youth adds flavor to a dying art and is proven by modernizing cultural experiences such as the Opera, or adding a relevant artist with mass appeal to work alongside the symphony. Toyota symphonic series for Youth introduces kids to this special art as well.
There really is no age restriction to Walt Disney Concert Hall series of concerts just as long as your child can sit through at least one hour of music without getting squirmy or making noise.
Yah, I know, Some of you are probably thinking that may not happen until the teenage years. I grew up a classical violinist playing in a youth symphony, so the Walt Disney Concert Hall holds a soft spot in my heart.
Whether symphonic music is your cup of tea, it somehow adds a layer of creativity to your imagination while bringing you to a calm and soothing place. Don’t be afraid to fall asleep in there either. It’s all part of the experience. Treat yourself to a concert or two at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The only regret you might have is if you don’t.

For those with little
runners & screamers:
Easily forgiven:
Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
