Chego – Permanently Closed
THE GET DOWN
Chego has some SERIOUS bowl action going on. Located in a rather large strip mall in Chinatown, Chego is the relevant version of gourmet Chinese street food; filling, delicious and super affordable.
Chego’s casual store with ledge seating only, leads you to the middle of this Chinese strip mall to eat. The aromas fill the air as you take off the lid. And then, in one bite, you feel full. No I don’t mean full as in full full. I mean complete as in every bite is getting an equal amount of perfectly curated ingredients.
If your tot doesn’t quite take to spice, then pack a couple sandi’s, wear them out on the mini amusement rides they have in this mall first and then stand alone in this culinary adventure. Beefy T, Leafy T, roasted pork… whatever you choose…you WILL be right.

For those with little
runners & screamers:
Easily forgiven:
Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
