Wallis Annenberg Center
THE GET DOWN
The Annenburg is a gorgeous venue for concerts and musicals with kids or without. Its fabulous to have an arts venue ( a short and condensed version of down towns LA music center) right in the heart of Beverly Hills.
Though I haven’t taken the tiny tots move and groove classes because the times don’t coincide with our schedule, I’ve heard from a couple cool mom friends that it’s super awesome and a very fun social scene for both kids and adults. Check their schedule for more info.
One weekend a year, the Annenburg hosts free family days with lots of music and activities for young kids. It’s a blast! They also have free dance classes Sunday evening in the summer as well as a variety of activities throughout the year.
Please note that in order to attend the evening concerts and recitals, your child must be able to sit quietly still for minimally an hour.

For those with little
runners & screamers:
Easily forgiven:
Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
