Jitlada
THE GET DOWN
I’m no expert in Thai food, but all I know is that it all tasted the same until I ate here. What I’ve come to learn from Jitlada is that regional good cooking (from Southern Thailand specifically); recipes of the ancestors and a lot of love make for a Thai experience you are yet to have (unless you’ve already eaten here, then you know why).
Jitlada’s unique dishes set them apart from ALL other Thai restaurants. I haven’t heard of half the things they have here… like pickled crab? or Dried catfish curry? huh? The long lines out the door prove that Jitlada is onto something BIG.
They offer simple foods for your picky eater and the family owned and operated vibe is always a good place to bring runners and screamers. The Jitlada family will coo over your baby while you try to get a mouthful or two in.
Oh yah, whatever you order just makes sure you stress MILD. Sometimes they can be heavy on the spice hand.
If you want Thai food you’ve never had before, then you have to go to a Thai restaurant you’ve never been before , right? Look no further… Jitlada is for you!

For those with little
runners & screamers:
Easily forgiven:
Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
