Winsome – Temporarily Closed
THE GET DOWN
The vibe at Winsome can’t be beat. The open kitchen and the chef with the hair (you’ll know what I mean when you get there) is quite entertaining.
With just the right amount of casualness and sophistication, you’ll enjoy the wholesome healthiness of a place that has a menu filled with really great things.
I’d like to call Winsome my brunch fantasy come true. Fried egg sandwich, duck egg toast, buckwheat pancakes, carmelized grapefruit? C’mon. Bring it.
Winsome has the right amount of noise for a young toddler and an enclosed patio for the young runner. Winsome’s simple and relaxed environment is perfect for a convo not only with your friends but with your dining neighbor you have yet to meet.
Relaxing with a young runner at Winsome is easiest in the latter part of lunch/brunch. Sit outside for sure. And if you can’t get to Winsome on the latter side of service due to a mid-day napping conflict, I beg you… wake them up! It’ll so be worth it.

For those with little
runners & screamers:
Easily forgiven:
Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
